I met Chester for the first time on my spring break trip to Mexico in 2007, the trip that changed my life-my first trip out of the country. Chester’s father, Rick, runs the ministry that I went with, so for the trip Chester and his older brother, R.C., joined us on our journey.
Since that trip Chester has grown up a lot…graduating from high-school, becoming a cage fighter (winning his first fight), moving to New York City to do an internship with Times Square Church for a year, and now, living in Ireland for a while (1 to 3 years!!) to work with a ministry there. I had the privilege of hanging out with him the day before he flew to Ireland as he passed through New York and I managed to grab him for a quick photo shoot upstairs in riverdale.
Chester…so pumped about you being in Ireland…I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things in store for you there!
On a quick, slightly sad note, Chester had to cut his hair as soon as he got there. Hopefully they let him keep wearing the HUGE green ring though…
Love this guy. When the Hagans were at our wedding someone referred to them as the
“Ralph Lauren” models….. sooo true. Great pictures!

I really like this pics! very nice light.
Now, about the hair, I gotta admit that as soon as I saw the pics I thought “oh, I wish he would cut that hair” lol. I may be the only one, but I don’t think it’s sad that he did :D

i have to say, the mom LOVES the long hair. He always looks so sharp and free. I’ve seen the haircut, and it will be ok till he comes home, then see what he will do.
It’s great that he can be who he wants to be without rebellion…the hair is simply an extension of the fact, he is an exceptional individual and God sees him as something special (as He does ALL of us…how cool is that?!!!).
I too cannot wait to see all God has for him in Ireland…I miss him but God has him and that’s a perfect place for him to be.
