Chris (also known as Wilder) Adkins is one of the best folk musicians I know. His music is thick, layered with his experiences and incredible skill. Wilder lived in India for a while and it shows through in his music. That indian “flavor” to his work mixed with his intricate guitar (and dulcimer) playing and his intense and beautiful voice makes for some of the best folk music I’ve heard in a while.
I met WIlder when I needed someone to play for the Bedouins International Banquala last year and he was recommended. Not only did he come play for us for free, but he rocked it and everyone left asking, “who was that guy?”
Since then we’ve become friends and I’ve photographed him several times. WIlder’s continued to be a part of our ministry at Bedouins by scoring music for many of my multi-media projects for me adding a lot to them each time.
Check out Wilder’s amazing album at HERE, it’ll be a worthwhile listen for you!
