Meet Trevor Newberry. I met Trevor through the Birmingham art crowd a couple of years ago, most likely at urban standard or Primavera, two of the local coffee shops with some of the best coffee around (of so I’ve heard…I don’t drink coffee!). I say that I probably met him there because Trevor is a coffee fanatic. Like…total fanatic. Let me give you an example. When I was visiting Birmingham to shoot the wedding last month (which will be featured on the blog tomorrow!) Trevor was brewing coffee at his house in what seemed to be something I used in my biology lab in college. Bunsen burner, glass beakers and all. Trevor is now the manager of Urban Standard and can pour a pretty beautiful latte (I’ll go ahead and say they’re pretty tasty too…just making an educated assumption here…). Trevor was also one of my soccer pals when I lived in Bham, and now, has replaced me as Paul’s roommate. Trevor, thanks for letting me crash at your place and for letting me photograph you while I was there!

(btw, I can say from experience that he makes a mean chai!)
