Monday marks the beginning of an awesome wave of travel for Jessi and myself. Well…actually my trip to San Diego was really the beginning. We leave early Monday morning to go visit Jessi’s best friend Calla Maria in Portland for a week, and to just relax for a little while. I can’t wait! I’ve been wanting to go to Portland for a long long time, and we’re going to get to visit Seattle while we’re there too and catch up with my friends Wes and Natasha. So cool. Then we’re back for a few days until we leave for the beach to attend a wedding and see Jessi’s parents. Another nice little vacation. Once we’re back from that, we have a board meeting here in Birmingham, and then Jessi and I go to Nashville for a few days of meetings, and visiting with family and friends there. Jessi has never been to Nashville, so we’re really looking forward to spending a few days up there hanging out. After that it’s off to Piedmont for Amy and Daniel’s wedding, which I’m shooting and Jessi is coordinating. And if you think all of that is crazy, only a week and a half after that we leave for 10 days in Haiti doing documentary work for the school at Coco beach and the Vanilla Bean Project. Insane. We have been blessed beyond belief these past few months, and it’s just so cool to be on the verge of some really amazing stuff. To top it all off, both Paul and myself found ourselves in a financial situation that allowed us to get the equipment that we needed for our upcoming trips (especially Haiti). God is good…that’s all I have to say about all of this. I just got a roll of film (new film that I haven’t used before but was testing out, kodak 400CN) back that I shot on my new 35mm camera (Canon eos 1n) and it turned out great. I’m even more excited now about all of these trips and all of the photos that I’m going to take. Here are some of those shots…keep up, I’ll be posting solid the whole time (except for while in Haiti!). Click Here for the Full Gallery
