Long long ago I played guitar. For a while I played in a worship band before I moved on to The Jones’…and just for the record, my worship band was called Digital Railroad. Yeah, you know you’re jealous. Thanks Paul Dow for that gem of a name. I tell you this because guitar, and worship leading is how I met my good friend Tom Hardy. Tom and I met when I was searching for band members for the worship band and a friend connected us. Originally I think that Tom was going to play drums for us, but God had different plans, and Tom ended up playing guitar/keys and leading. It was a ton of fun, and we got to work with some amazing youth together. Tom is now all grown up, living in Atlanta and engaged to Emily Bomer (also an amazing and very fun person) and I had the privilege of shooting their engagement pictures this past weekend.
