Stuart Jones and I met in a bed in Nashville several years ago. I know…it sounds bad right? Haha…I love the story of how I got to know Stuart. I was at the Passion conference in Nashville and my rides sort of ditched me so I was stuck downtown with no way to get back to the place I was staying. I happened to bump into a friend and he mentioned that everyone in their hotel was sharing a bed buy one guy, so I could share with him that night. That guy wasn’t there when we got in so I got in bed and went to sleep, only to be woken up as someone climbed into bed with me a little later. He actually turned to me in the middle of the night in bed and shook my hand to introduce himself as Stuart. We’ve been friends ever since!
In college Stuart and I started a band together called The Jones’ and had a blast playing blues-rock together. After that I moved to Birmingham to pursue photography and Stuart moved to Kansas City to attend a prayer school. Now he’s back down south and starting up his first Engineering job in TN! He got to come visit us up here in NYC for a few days before starting the new job and we not only got to shoot these photos, but took Stuart shopping for some new business clothes for the job (and the shoot!).
On a different note, I should be landing in Nairobi in a few hours and jumping in a car for the 4 hour ride to Nyeri almost immediately. I’ll attempt to update my twitter (it’s a lot easier than blogging from a cell phone) once I get there, so check that if you wish! (HERE)

Vintage and I like it.
