My friend Caleb Chancey was showing me some photos and telling me about his recent fishing trip with his family when he mentioned catching a shark.  Our conversation sparked a memory from many years ago for me and so I came back to the office and started digging through the archives of Facebook in search of an image.  Voilá!  I give you the shark that me and my friend Blanton caught with our bare hands when we were still in high school.  Blanton’s dad (seen in the picture) was reeling the shark in when it broke the line over a sand bar.  The shark was already in too shallow to get back out, and so we decided to go get it.  We chased it down in waist deep water and proceeded to tackle it and drag it to shore with our bare hands.  That’s right…I said our bare hands.  Anyways…here’s the photo for you…these days I try not to tackle too many sharks…I prefer less…bite-y animals personally :)
