In January of 2009 I had the opportunity to travel to Meto Kenya with a ministry called Integrity Worldwide. When we landed in Nairobi we were met by Sam Kisimir, the owner of Meto Expeditions, a tour company based in Kenya offering driving services and tours there. Sam quickly became a good friend as he (and his company) took care of us during our stay in Meto (which happened to be his home town).
Sam is an awesome guy…always fun to hang out with and be around. On my second trip to Kenya sam took me to a pub to watch my favorite soccer team play while treating me to some exotic kenyan food (try goat intestines…mmm). On my most recent trip to Kenya for Bedouins International we were able to hire Meto Expeditions to drive us to Nyeri for the Kiini project. We were even more lucky to be able to actually have sam along for the trip. It was great getting to hang out again for a week and we definitely feel very safe with sam around…always looking out for us.
Sam…thanks so much for being there for us and for taking care of us in Kenya! Can’t wait to see you again soon!

Sam! What a great guy!

I met Sam in Kenya last summer and I will be meeting him again this summer. We just finished an hour chat on Facebook and he is the best.
