Once a week Our loft and Jessi’s loft spend an evening hanging out.  Someone is in charge of dinner each week and we always watch a movie, play a game or do something fun.  It’s a chance for us to hang out with each other without all of the craziness of life weighing down on our time, and to just have some good old fashioned community.  Last night at family dinner we carved pumpkins while Jessi cooked us some amazing black bean lasagna.  It was pretty spectacular.  Here are the masterpieces that we came up with:

Allison created the creepy Halloween face on the left, Jessi and I made the Bedouins Logo in the center and Paul went all out with his R2-D2 on the right.

Interesting fact:

Jessi can’t remember ever carving a pumpkin before last night.
