Recently my friend Phil asked me to come shoot some photos for his new website that he’s working on.  He had a fun concept from the get go and said the magic words (as far as I’m concerned)…let’s shoot this b&w.  I LOVE black and white…honestly, I’d probably shoot almost all b&w if I could.  Don’t get me wrong, I like a good color image…but there’s just something striking and classic about a beautiful black and white film shot.  It has that lasting, timeless quality to it…I don’t know, I just get excited about it.  We shot at Phil’s loft in Opelika and had a blast…the idea was to show him working, in his element but also show some of his personality in the shots as well.  Really had a blast with these ones, plus Phil is pretty much the bomb, so that makes it all the more fun ;)
