MaryJane Studio Session I

January 4, 2012

Just before Christmas Break I had MaryJane come over to the studio to do some fashion photos.  I’d shot with Mary Jane once early this year for a local magazine and really enjoyed working with her so I was super excited to get the opportunity to do some more work together.  I’m really happy with the results of our shoot…I”ll be posting some shots from the session on here this week and next.

technical info in order of images: mamiya rz67 pro II, 110mmf2.8, kodak tri-x, alien bee 1600 through 6′ octo camera right. mamiya 645af, 80mmf2.8, kodak tri-x, alien bee 1600 through 46″ photek softlighter camera left.

Annie – RZroid

December 29, 2011

this was the first image I made with my new RZ a few weeks ago when I got it. Bleached the negative of the polaroid after I took it and turned it to b&w. On another note, we’re here in Indiana for one last night before heading back to reality tomorrow morning.  Unfortunately, Annie spent the last day home sick (seems like this bug is going around…me and my sis loaded up on vitamin C today to try and ward it off).  So this post is a goodbye to our vacation and a hello to being un-sick for Annie!

technical info: rz67 pro II, 90mm3.5, in my studio, natural light, fuji fp100c, bleached negative scanned on epson 4990

Stephen and Lane: Wedding

December 28, 2011

Stephen and Lane were married here in Birmingham on the perfect fall day.  The leaves were beautiful, the temperature perfect and the two of them were absolutely radiant.  They couldn’t have been happier and it showed through in every moment of their big day.  I had a blast being a part of it and really loved the images we got…it was another one of the high points in an amazing fall filled with beautiful weddings!  To view the entire gallery and order prints click HERE.
