Finally – some fresh film to share with you! These shots were taken by myself and my beautiful fiancée, Jessi the day we got engaged. The first set (park/boat etc.) were taking during our “date” in the park (my cover for proposing) and the last few were taken by Phil Moody after we were engaged back on our street in Harlem. Hooray for film and double Hooray for being engaged!

I spent all night last night editing and selecting and sizing images…first time in weeks that I’ve gotten to sit at a desktop and was able to really dig into all of this stuff that I’ve been shooting. I’m so pumped to finally have images edited and sized up for the web to blog! I’m going to start with a quick sneak peek at a wedding that I’ll be blogging next week…here are a few shots from the reception that I really liked…film = happy Stephen :)

I had my second test shoot of the month yesterday and it was amazing. (I have the film back from the first one and should be blogging it soonish). We did a summer/anthropology-esque styled shoot on a river here in birmingham for this shoot and I had wonderful models, a great styling team and beautiful light…what more can you ask for. I’ll do a full post soon with links to the team members who made this shoot happen…here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming up via some polaroids we shot yesterday:

I’ve been slacking on the blog major lately. I’m going to warn you that the next few weeks might be pretty spotty on here…but I’m going to do my best. I have tons of film coming back, weddings/test shoots/family portraits/head shots/more portrait of the week shoots…you name it…it’s coming. Another exciting announcement: I’ll be traveling to Amman, Jordan for 2 weeks on monday on assignment for Mosaic Birmingham. The full story to come soon (and some photos from the field I hope).
I did a new portrait of the week shoot today with my friend Amy Stroup, here’s the polaroid…I’ll get the film developed when I’m back in NYC. That’s all for now folks…I miss you dearly blog world…
