Paul and myself are laying on an inflatable air mattress at my friend Belinda’s appartment in Brooklyn and taking a breather from our insane weekend in New York. We flew in (on a later flight because we missed ours) late Thursday and woke bright and early Friday to go to a meeting and then film all day with Times Square Church. The meeting and filming both went well until we discovered that the audio wasn’t working at all…some strange distortion was overlaid on everything that we’d recored all day. TSC loaned us a camera for the remainder of the day and we finished things up strong and headed back to Brooklyn where our friend Felix picked us up and drove us about an hour and a half out of the city to a retreat center where we spent the night and woke this morning to film all day. Felix runs a non-profit called No Excuse Now which is an internet social networking site (like myspace or facebook) that allows missionaries and their supporters to create accounts and keep in touch. It’s an amazing idea, providing a quick and easy way for sponsors here in the states to keep up with what their missionaries are doing, and also provides finincial donating solutions as well. More on them soon! So for now, here are a few pics from the trip that I’ve been snapping as we go…don’t forget to check out the full gallery!
