So, as of now (my 6th week in New York) we’ve had about a dozen snow days…2 of which were officially deemed ‘blizzards’!  So coming from living in Alabama for most of my life I really didn’t know anything about blizzards.  I learned that they’re awesome, until about the 3rd day after…when the beautiful snow because not-so-beautiful blackish/grayish slush that gets all over you when you walk to work.  But despite the slush I LOVE the snow, and the cold weather for that matter.  I was born in Ohio (only lived there until I was about 5) so I think that I have the blood of a ‘northerner’ in me.  Anyways…here are some of my favorite shots of our neighborhood in the blizzard:
