Last week I had the oportunity to travel to Reynosa Mexico with Times Square Church to shoot one of our first mission trips of the year.  The trip was dual purposed:  Our BrickThink team was building a home for a woman at the canal and our OnCall team was hosting medical clinics and screenings throughout the week.

I flew in a few days after the start of the trip to find the house half way constructed already. You can check out some of the trip photos on the BrickThink Blog and the OnCall Blog.

While I was there I got to visit with several old friends as well as make some new ones. One girl in particular hung out with me a lot during my time in Mexico. Her name was Marlin and we met when she waved me over to her house to show me their new born chicks. After that we were best friends and hung out the entire time. At one point in the trip I showed her how to use my camera and, as you’ll see below, she went to town. It’s so much fun to get to take a break from just clicking away and to actually connect with someone like Marlin. She really made the trip something special for me.
