During our trip to Jordan we spent a day in downtown ‘Old Amman’ exploring some of the ruins there.  We started at the Roman Amphitheater, which lies in the heart of downtown.  It was an impressive site and we had a great time climbing the stairs and checking out the view from the top.  I always love trying to imagine the people there at the time it was in use and new…very surreal.  After that we went up to the top of the hill in the center of the city to check out the Citadel, the ancient temple ruins.  It was pretty crazy going from the Roman Amphitheater to the Ancient ruins so nearby and realizing how many different people have  ruled Amman at some point in time (even the ancient citadel had some roman ruins scatter within it).  Switched it up a little and put some color film in my pentax K-1000 for these shots…hope you enjoy.
