I am so excited to introduce this couple to you! Joey and Cali are good friends of mine (Jessi’s – and Stephen’s now too) from Auburn and we went down to shoot their wedding the second weekend in June. It was so special for me to get to be a part of this day with them. I went to school with Joey and Cali and they are both such amazing people, such good hearts, and they really make a great pair.

We shot their wedding in Auburn (of course) at Auburn United Methodist Church in the very romantic Founder’s Chapel. The reception was at Greystone Mansion. It was supposed to be an outside reception, but a major thunderstorm hit just as everyone started arriving. It was actually kind of cool because a huge clap pf thunder hit right as Joey and Cali entered the mansion and the downpour began.

Because of the rain, the party pretty much stayed inside. It was hot and humid, but it was kind of nice to have everyone in one spot together. Plus, it made for an incredible dance party! At one point, the DJ had to stop the music because the furniture was about to fall over. Definitely a sign of a good party.

I am so happy for these two and we wish them many many happy years together!!
