It’s that time…
April 24, 2010
Time to head out again! I’m so excited. Tomorrow I embark on a 3 week long adventure through Kenya and Zambia. The first part of the trip I’ll be in Kenya again working on a Bedouins International project with the Kenyan NGO KIINI. After that I’ll spend a few days with a bishop in a part of Kenya that I’ve never been to before! From there I head to Zambia for about 3 days of working alone, then 3 days working with the Times Square Church team that will be joining me there.
I CAN’T WAIT!!! Not only that…but this time I get to bring JESSI with me to Kenya! It’s going to be an amazing adventure. Besides all of that this marks the beginning of almost 2 1/2 months of traveling for me. From Africa I’ll be back in NYC for less than a week before wedding season kicks into high gear and I’ll be traveling all over the southeast, mostly Alabama and Tennessee for the next 6 weeks. Then back in NYC and off to Detroit. I’m so excited about all of this and so blessed to get to do this for work. Stay tuned for updates and be sure to check out my TWITTER for more frequent status reports on our trip! Here’s a shot of the Africa that I’m heading back to…I’m so in love with that place!
By the way, I’m going to pre-post images from my last trip to Kenya for the entirety of my absence (**other than the portrait of the week shots that I have set to post). Hopefully I’ll get some time/internet while I’m there to post on our trip, but just in case you’ll be seeing pictures that I have yet to introduce on this blog from the 2 weeks I spent traveling around Kenya in October of 2009.
