We’re back in La Ceiba, Honduras (sort of our base of operations) and relaxing for a day before Paul and I fly back tomorrow morning from San Pedro Sula.  It’s been a great trip, full of fun adventures (like usual), weird food and beautiful people.  I think that we’re going to come back with some amazing footage for their video and some solid photos for their site (they being Missions Unlimited).  I can’t wait to get home and send the film off.  Actually, I can’t wait to just get home.  I’m exhausted. 8 days and 7 flights by the time we’re home to Birmingham.  It’s been a blitz.  We’ve covered the Caribbean coast of the country, met crippled divers, American missionaries, an Olympic tae-kwon-do teacher/pastor, the mayor and governor.  We’ve played with parrots, photographed monkeys eaten fish (with big teeth), learned about cocaine trafficking, visited a prison, a safe haven for abused kids, a hospital and a host of other places.  We’ve landed on dirt runways in airplanes that brought images of Indiana Jones to mind and played soccer with prosthetic treatment kids.  It’s been quite a week.  Now, we’re ready to head home and get some rest.  Be praying for our long day of traveling tomorrow (2 hour drive to san pedro, 3 hour flight to Houston, 2 hour fight to Birmingham) that starts at 6 am and doesn’t end until we arrive home at 8pm.

Here are a few digital shots I edited here on my laptop to show you some of what’s gone on this week…cheers and I love you!
