I enjoyed the comfort of my own bed for the 2nd night in a row last night.  It’s hard for me to get out of it this morning knowing that it’ll be another week until I’m back in it again.  I leave this afternoon for my final international assignment of the year for TSC, to Athens, Greece.  It seems pretty crazy to me that I moved up here in January and my time is almost done now.  Jessi and I will be moving back South at the beginning of December as we end our 1 year contract, and to help pass the time between now and than I have my assignment in Greece, a wedding at Yale in New Haven, CT, two more alabama weddings on separate trips and a trip to Indiana to visit my family for my Great Grandmother’s 90th birthday party (all before Dec).  Talk about busy.  But man has it been a fun year.  I’ve learned a lot, traveled a lot (something like 60,000 miles in the air with Delta alone, not counting a few other flights on different airlines), I’ve photographed a lot…I even got engaged!

I’m so grateful for this year and all of the opportunities that I’ve had, but I’m ready to wind down a little.  Definitely not ready to stop my busy lifestyle or my traveling (already working on a few projects for  next year that I can’t wait to share with you!) but I’m ready to slow it down a bit and I’m ready to have a ‘home base’ again that I come back to a little more regularly.  Tired doesn’t even begin to describe how I’ve felt the last 4 months.

And with that I leave you with a few shots of me from my recent trip to Jordan.  I’m off…next post from Athens, Greece (if I have wi-fi!)  Adios and thanks for following along!
