I was recently asked by a friend if I would post an image and some info on my gear…so here goes nothing:

Any of you who keep up with me know that I shoot a lot of film. My main cameras are a pentax k-1000, a Canon eos 1N and a Mamiya C220. As far as digital goes I shoot a canon 5D. Lens wise for my pentax I have a 50mm f 2, a 28mm f 2.8 and a 135mm f 2.8. My Mamiya has an 80mm f 2.8 on it. For my canons (both the film and digital) I shoot a 50mm f 1.4, a 35mm f 2, and a 100mm f 2.8 macro. I also have an old tamron 28-75mm f 2.8 that I don’t ever touch, but keep for second shooters at weddings and as a backup. When I use camera flash (seldom) I use a canon 430 ex. I keep a Minolta light meter on me as well, and obviously tons of batteries, chargers, cables, flash cards and film. I pack it all in the Lowepro Vertex 200 AW. I also have been shooting with a Toyo 4×5 view camera a lot lately, although that doesn’t get packed into the bag :) And there you have it…my set up. When I use strobes I shoot with Alien Bee’s, 4 of them through several modifiers…I’ll blog on that sometime in the future. Oh, and for film I typically shoot Kodak 400Cn and Kodak Tri X for my day-time black and white, Kodak Portra 160 NC for color, and Fuiji Neopan 1600 when it’s dark. Cheers!
