To be completely honest, I think most of these shots were taking in some small town near Galveston, but I couldn’t tell you the name of it.  I find more and more lately as I travel, work and exhaust my brain that my memory is not nearly as good as it used to be.  It’s weird to say that, seeing as how I’m only 25(ish).

Anyways…these shots were taking during my BrickThink trip via Times Square Church to Galveston, Texas where we were constructing prefabricated houses to ship to Haiti to aid with relief efforts.  It was a great trip and it was really interesting to me (a southerner) to watch a group of New Yorkers experience the south for the first time.  Many of them had spend most of if not all of their lives in and around NYC so it was quite a new world to them down there in Texas.

We got to visit a long horn ranch and I took these shots while we were there…as much as I detest the heat of southern summers, Texas is beautiful and a lot of fun to photograph.
