Donny is a leg handicapped lobster diver from Bruis Laguna, Honduras.  He is one thousands in similar situations.  Once a diver becomes crippled (caused by compression sickness or “the benz” from diving too deep) they are “worthless” to the captains and are left with no use of their legs and no job.  Missions Unlimited is working on a co-op that teaches the divers to build traps so that they can continue fishing to support themselves, and is providing P.E.T.’s (See Bedouins Post) to help them get around.  More on this story soon…it’s one worth taking the time to write out.
