We’ve been on rickety planes…we’ve been on tap-taps…so I take great pleasure in introducing you to the “bush taxi”.  My friend Sam owns Meto Expeditions and was in charge of our transportation in Kenya.  Jackson, our trusty driver, navigated some pretty terrible roads (and understand I say that after spending weeks in Haiti…which we described as “unnavigable”) without fault.  We had 2 flat tires, and got stuck in the mud several times, but all-in-all we did pretty good.  By the way, we’re walking in this pic so that the bus was lighter and could get over the mud that we kept getting stuck in.
