I would like for you to meet Ben Hughes. Ben is one of my co-workers/bosses/intern parent and many other things to me. Ben lives with his wife and their 8 month (i think) old son upstairs in our building. Ben was one of the first people that I met coming up here, and he helped us work out details and get moved in.
Ben plays guitar and was in bands for a lot of his life, so we have a good time talking music. He actually just did a project with me a few weeks ago scoring some music for a video I made here at church and it was a lot of fun to collaborate with another artist. He’s a really talented guitar player, a great father and a really fun guy to be around. He’s definitely like a big, grown up kid in a lot of ways, which I LOVE about him.
Just so you know, the original idea with this shot was to try to recreate this shot HERE by Richard Avedon of Bob Dylan. You can see our attempt in the top right corner. It worked out pretty well, but I was much more captivated by the shot of him sitting. I’ll post the dylan one with Avedon’s version larger later on for closer scrutiny.

wow, is that the same place as Dylan’s pic? well at least the pavement looks the same, that’s really cool! I like the other full-body shot of him standing best.
