One of my project goals for my trip to Beijing was to capture photos of Chinese students out and about, having fun and being themselves. It was a lot of fun because it meant just hanging out with some cool students myself, which was a blast. We spent an afternoon at a local park with a group of college students hanging out, playing card games and goofing off. We were able to get some great shots and to really just see them being themselves, fun and energetic. They even spoke in English the whole time for us, which was great (since I speak no Chinese at all!). The project was done for ELIC (The English Language Institute of China) who staff english teachers all over Asia and really focus on building meaningful relationships there.
