We shot the beautiful wedding of Josh and Brooke today here in Birmingham and had a blast. Paul was kind enough to snap a few behind the scenes shots of me working the 4×5 and I really liked this one. 4×5 has become a big part of what we do and we really enjoy the use of film and vintage camera to capture the day. A lot of the look and feel of my images come from the film that we’re using and the variety of cameras that we bring with us…Film to me still seems to capture more than digital…maybe it’s more character or just the classic and romantic vibe that it brings. Whatever the reason, shooting film is one of my favorite parts of my job and most definitely a huge part of who I am as a photographer.
