I was looking back through some images for a friend and was just re-struck by how beautiful Haiti is.  I had the opportunity to work on a project there in September of 2009, only days after Hurricane Ike had struck the final blow to the country in a sting of hurricanes stretching back for weeks.  The country was in disarray as people walked miles to escape their flooded homes.  And still…from the air as we flew in, and over the country, all I could see was beauty.  Here are a few shots from that trip…thinking about Haiti today as I prepare to fly to Thanksgiving with my family.
