The week that I left for New York I got one final assignment in my studio in Birmingham:  to shoot the 24 finalists for the Cox Radio Minority Business Award for B-Metro Magazine.  It was one of those assignments that couldn’t have been a better fit for me.  I was asked to shoot all 24 finalists on white in my studio and given complete freedom from there to do what I wanted.  After shooting portraits on white for the past 8 months or so for my personal work I was really excited to get to do it for an assignment.  Here are a few of my favorite shots, check out the rest of them in this month’s B-Metro Magazine.
