Living in the Phoenix lofts I saw Austin around a lot over the past year, but never really got to know him. Then last month I was asked to go to Jordan with him for Mosaic Birmingham, and suddenly I found myself in the middle east with few other english speakers but myself and Austin. We got to know each other really fast and quickly became good friends.

Austin is a photographer himself, and is now assisting me fairly often on weddings…and speaking of weddings: Austin is getting married in less than 2 weeks! (congratulations Austin!)

It’s always fun getting to know people on trips abroad…you instantly form bonds that last a lifetime and with Austin I’m looking forward to being back in Birmingham soon to spend more time working and hanging out with him (and his bride to be!)

*side note: hoping to go back to Jordan with Austin in Feb/March!
