I’m sitting here at Urban Standard, eating cookies, drinking an amazing Boylan Root Beer and watching soccer…and I’m on the edge of my seat with excitement. God has literally poured out the blessing on me and my business, and the past few days have come with surprise after surprise. I’m going to be “that guy” and keep most of them to myself for now, until a later date…but one that you know of already (if you’ve read my previous few posts) is my surprise trip to San Diego with Mark. I’m so so so excited. I leave town tomorrow…and we start our drive in the wee hours of Friday morning. I just picked up a ton of film to shoot, and I almost don’t remember what it’s like to just go and shoot for fun…not for a client or job. Not to mention I’ve never been further west than Salt Lake City! And the icing on that cake is that I get back, shoot a wedding and then turn right around and fly back to Portland for yet another week of relaxation! This is officially my vacation month! And man do I need it…I haven’t been on a legit vacation in so long! I just spent the better part of today finishing up a project, that I’ll tell you all about in depth soon…but for now…here’s a pic that I really liked from what I edited all day!
