Amsterdam 6am and Tired
February 5, 2009
That’s about the sum of it. We have a 4 hour layover here in Schipol and I’m exhausted. The weight of our trip has begun to set in, and as I scrambled to finish the interviews for the video in our hotel in Nairobi moments before we drove to the airport it began to hit me…we were leaving Kenya. Leaving the Maasai. Leaving our group. Already 2 members have flown off in different directions. It was an incredible 12 days, and I can’t wait to write all about them. Bishop Moses, our host/guide/friend in Meto has an beautiful family of 6 kids…here’s one of them. This is Paris. His kids were amazing. Seriously. They would drop everything in an instant to help us in any way…they swept the dirt in the yard for us to keep it clean, they sang and danced and worshiped all day long. Amazing. I can’t wait to show you more. Cheers!

Great picture. Sounds like it was a great trip. Can’t wait to hear more.
