So recently I’ve been shooting and shooting and shooting and no time to breath or think. This past weekend was the last wedding that I have to shoot for some time, and other than my trip to Russia next week, I get to relax for a little while and catch up some. I’ll be starting a project (both personal and for school) of portraits here at the Phoenix, so if you’re a friend or acquaintance, or just around and want to hang out, drop by loft 508 sometime and I’ll take your picture for my project.

In other news, I have been getting stuff back that I shot for bands, and other things and haven’t had a moment’s breath to post any of it…so I will attempt to start today. The following are three albums that I had the privilege to shoot…and although the covers are typographical, I shot all of the artwork on the insides, the back, the inserts and under the disks.

The first album that I’m posting is This Is Life by Brett Younker. Brett is an amazing musician, based out of Atlanta, GA and an all around cool guy. I would highly recommend purchasing a copy of his new album, or at least going to his site and listening to it until you’re completely addicted to it.

The second album posted is Encounter Live 2007 by Grace Campus Ministries . A live worship album, Encounter Live 2007 is a great album, and has some amazing worship on it. I was a part of Encounter for a long time while I lived in Auburn, and in fact just recently blogged about it with a gallery of new photos from a few weeks back. Check that one out as well!

The third and final album that I’m going to post today is Family Heirlooms by Roger Eason. Roger is my roomate, business partner and good friend, and let me tell you, his new album is AMAZING. Roger’s songwriting will blow you away, and this, his first solo album, will be a great addition to your collection. Keep an eye out, the album hasn’t been officially released yet–but it’ll be out very soon!

Well, that’s all for now…I have an album coming for Twaun Pledger, and more Bedouins stuff as well. I’ll try and post some more stuff before I leave for Russia, but I will be sure to blog the entire time that I’m there with updates and photos from our trip! Cheers!
